WHAT WE DID
The Works Salon has been an established salon in North-West London for over 25 years. Their time in business meant that they already knew who their core customer base and intended target audience were. We knew that the best strategy for growth would be to double down on their core audience, expand their market share and dominate more of this space and customer demographic, before finding new target audiences and building relationships with the younger millennial demographic that were outside of their core client base.
We recognized that either way, the company had to be brought online and that their brand and EXPERIENCE better communicated via their website first before looking for other channels. We created a new website (www.theworkssalon.co.uk) which includes active calls to action, clear presentation, reflective branding and a booking system so that their new customers can understand, investigate, then book directly online. We created a brand video to sit on the home page so that without delay, we could help visitors understand their salon, friendly staff and homely atmosphere.
Once such foundations were in place, we then commenced with a media planning strategy that included social, building the salon as an authority in the local community.
